Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda says the band is "pretty deep" into the making of its next album. He says in a post on MikeShinoda.com that they've spent endless hours jamming in the studio to come up with a "bold and energetic" sound for the follow-up to 2012's Living Things.
The band has also broken away from their usual recording methods by working in a new locale and producing themselves. Shinoda says they can't wait for fans to hear the results, which they expect to have out this summer.
