Thirty Seconds to Mars will soon find out if the success of their "Up in the Air" video can make the trip overseas.  The clip helped the band win the Best Rock trophy at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, and now Jared Leto and company have nabbed multiple MTV Europe Music Award nominations, including Best Video.

They're also in the running for Best Alternative along with Arctic Monkeys, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and Franz Ferdinand.  Kings of Leon, Queens of the Stone Age, the Killers, and Green Day are all up for the Best Rock award, as are rock icons Black Sabbath.

Imagine Dragons made the cut in the Best New category, while Daft Punk could take home trophies for Best Electronic or Best Song for "Get Lucky."  The 2013 Europe Music Awards will be handed out November 10th in Amsterdam.
